Suggestions?

So I finally have a Computer powerful enough to handle all (as opposed to my old one which had trouble churning out StarCraft) Comp games out there which leaves me with the question. What do I buy first? Any suggestions?

Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy - Outcast is fun.. saber dueling is awesome, I haven't played Academy.. but I'd assume it's still good or better on it.
Half Life Pack.. Thing. - I forget it's actual name, but it comes with all the Half Life games and includes Counter Strike and Team Fortress. Don't forget to download Day of Defeat.. or buy it, it may not be downloadable anymore.. not sure.

Those are the only one I play, cause I don't have that much space left with making anime music videos.. o.o

Is it like Knights of the Old Republic or First Person Styled?

IHateMakingNames 12-21-2003 04:45 PM

It's either First person(But no one uses first person), or third person(Better since guns suck and it's always lightsabers). It's more of an Action/Adventure type game... (Assuming your going to play multiplayer over single player). Run around, jump, swing your saber, use force powers. So it's like KotoR, but you carry out the moves instead of the game

Note that I have not played Academy, but Academy is just a better version of Outcast, which I have played. (Outcast II)

Ooooo sounds like fun. Any other Computer Game Suggestions?

IHateMakingNames 12-21-2003 04:52 PM

Now I need to go buy Academy...

Hm... Medal of Honor games are fun...

Any MMORPG is good if you don't mind monthly fees (FFXI is suggested, or Galaxies)

I've heard Beyond Good and Evil is awesome, my cruddy video card won't support it though.

IHateMakingNames 12-21-2003 04:54 PM

Get Beyond Good and Evil for a console, not PC... PC is just for multiplayer games...

Oh, and Warcraft 3 is good

If you don't have or want an Xbox, get Halo. Also Freedom Fighters. If you like Real-time Strategy War Games, get Age of Wonders or Rise of Nations. Warcraft 3 is good. And The Sims are fun anytime.

I have to second this suggestion. It's $30 for this pack thing, and comes with Half-life, Counter-strike, opposing force, blue shift, and team fortress classic. Good stuff.

I also recommend Battlefield 1942. That is one of my favorite games ever. And EB Games has a $50 pack with BF1942 and the first expansion they put out for it.
