Well this being a forum about comics and thus the characters that inhabit them I posted a quick post about My favorite character, I figured the fact that he is well known, but little celebrated would spark enough conversation but I was wrong, so I'll post this question Which is your favorite of the original X-men and why, and if anyone says wolverine I'll kill them.

I've always been partial to collosus, I like the personality of the character mor than the power personaly. as for the absolute original characters, I guess I'd go with beast, but most of the original character designs were pretty horrible in my oppinion.

I don't know about you, but I really like Wolverine!

What was that about the killings, again?

Yeah, anybody who uses bad puns should get the killing... Sheesh, Iceman, cool... Bad...

And I like Wolvie too! There's something about short, hairy stoic guys with blades coming out of his knuckles that make me go: "Wow, he's cool." Plus he's a samurai! What's not to like?

And Colossus is cool too. Just because he's made of metal and shines so pretty. ^_^

Akbar, have you ever considered yourself as someone a forum moderator would feel it necessary to keep an eye on?

Iceman, Beast, Marvel Girl, Angel, and Cyclops... and no the moderator doesn't have to monitor me... unless he wants his spleen ripped out... that was a joke, a big, jokey joke... filled with other... smaller jokes.

To me, X-Men is more or less an event-centric comic where emphasis on the characters is kept to a minimum. That being the case, in my mind, the only thing that distinguishes one character from another is their abilities. Keeping that criteria in mind, I'll pick hidden option number six: Chuck Xavier himself.
