Awsome Endings
 

OK I started the other thread about Games with lame endings so i thought i might start one about games with really good endings.
hmm Deus Ex has 3 great endings.

Earthbound?

Full Throttle had a great ending, as did Terranigma.

Link's Awakening had probably the best ending of any Zelda game.

I liked the Fallout endings. It changed depending on what you did in each town. (I.E. If you sold one town out to the mutants, in the ending they'd mention it was destroyed, while if you defended it, they'd say that it prospered).

I haven't actually finished the game, but Star Ocean 2 has 86 ending... Atleast one of them has to be good...

FF9 had a good ending. I can't remember any Zelda ending, and I beat them all (excluding Wind Waker).

I liked the ending to FFX, it was one of the only things ever in a video game that affected me emotionally.

The curse of monkey island had a good ending if I remember.

The ending of Lunar2 was pretty cool... the second ending, that is. (The game has two, you get one, then play some more and get another). I also like the FFIX ending, as well. I liked the way Kuja was redeemed. At least partially.

Edit: I hate forgetting that I in FFIX

I liked FF9's ending, too. It was nicely romantic, and if a little sappy, all the better for it, in my opinion. And I appreciated Kuja's partial redemption, too.

I was also quite fond of FF8's ending (once it stopped being second cousin to an art film), which is strange, because I didn't really like the game.
