Leveling up?
I was wondering, can the 8-bit theatre crew level up? It seems like they did, because fighter could barely touch the giant at first, but recently he took one on all by himself. Was it because he leveled up, or because black mage was in trouble, or because the giant was too busy talking?

Lucky shot.

They did talk about leveling up,not sure if they did. But they should have from all the monsters and NPC's they slaughtered. They should have leveled up at least 5 times. And at the point they are at the game they should be at level 10 or 11.

Don't forget quest XP...

They probably can level up, with RM's XP talk plus the RLW ('Real' Light Warriors) said early on about something on experience.
I'm surprised we haven't gotten a comic about the level up message yet. |
How many XP is the average Dwarf, because Black Mage should be pretty high by now. :D
|
I guess it would depend on the level of the dwarf.

Well, as I learned in FFX-2, killing a monster of moderate XP a million times is better than killing a high XP monster (who may smite you) a few times.

Actually, I've noticed that Brian has strayed from the RPG/Video game jokes, just a bit. I mean, RPG World covered pretty much all the basics, and back when Red Mage was quoting intricate rules of RPGs, it was downright annoying.
I think Brian has learned that he's better off concentrating on his own style of humor, as anything else doesn't always work out right. So, no I don't think he'll touch the level-up aspect again. Besides, it gives us forum goers something to chat about. SWB |
Fighter knew the Giant's weak spot from seeing Sara shread one. That's how he knew.
The SWB, that doesn't mean Brian and dabble his fingers in the water of VGRPG jokes and flick it at us, just to keep the talk fresh. |
