About how "owned" are these mechas and clones? Are consider free, having the rights garrenteeed to people in the constatution (assuming this takes place in America, or does this take palce at Japan, or some other place?) Or are they considered goverment property, restiriced to goverment grounds? Either way, I imagine that would be a controversial issue being debated (like X-men, right? I don't read X-men, so I might be wrong.)

Elder clones are officially citizens, while the second generation are still government property. Mecha's aren't sentient (unless you mean giant robot class, at which point it would depend who built them) so they're property the same way a tank is. Also, due to the exact nature of clone abilities, it's impossible to say some haven't escaped. The government, as always, is being tight lipped.

Also, any ideas on countries to use would be appreciated as to what country to set this in.

Set it in futuristic England, where ancient landmarks meet country-smashing mecha powaa.

I know I'm a bit late in the convo, but it sounds pretty interesting. Looks like Martial Arts, Gun Bunny, and Ninja aren't so popular. No idea why... they'd pwn if you make any of em right. Now to look them all over and decide which one I can tweak the best.... lemme know if this gets off the ground.
