I like swords.

So much so, that I feel like buying Anduril. Do you think it's worth it?

Drooling Iguana 12-22-2003 03:26 PM

Buy one of these instead.

Those plasma sabers are pretty damned sweet... but a bit on the pricey side for a mock weapon. If it can't cleave a skull, it ain't worth 990 dollars... but then, that's just my overly violent opinion.

Nah, it'll probably end up being just a mounted decoration. If I could find a functional one, I might consider buying it, just on the fact that as a sword lover and scholar myself, I can see that the blade from the movie was close to idealy balanced.

Ranson 12-22-2003 04:56 PM

There with ya, krylo. I don't even consider buying non-functional bladed weapons anymore. I might make an exception for Narsil reforged, though . . .

Dante 12-22-2003 09:21 PM

The plasma saber sounds great... except that I am a po' little boy. Maybe as an ORD present...

Raiden 12-22-2003 09:39 PM

I don't see any point in that plasma saber. I'd get a real sword. You can't lose with blades of destruction.

Forever Zero 12-22-2003 09:47 PM

When they make a real plasma saber, then I'll pay basically $1000 for it, but if it was cheaper I would buy that because it was pretty awsome. Until then, because practicality is as important as appearence to me, I would go with the sword, although my only question would be how much is it?

Dante 12-22-2003 09:47 PM

Looks cool though. But in the darkness the glow on the pommel end throws off the lightsaber effect. And besides, Anduril is cheaper.

Atronflame 12-22-2003 11:30 PM

No, no... DI has it wrong. Buy one of These instead.
