Could be an april fools joke, but the facts seem too solid to be dismissed, in my opinion.

To tell you the truth... that looks an awful lot like a Photoshoped PSP.

Rather, shapes with specific layer effects. BUT, there is a lot of information in that article. If it's a joke, then it's been planned out quite well.

Its a good idea. But it would fail. Apple tried the console game market once I belive... It didn't work out.

And its a joke. A blatent one IMO.

Well anyway, I don't think it's unreal enough to be dismissed unless either Apple or Game Revolution claims it as a joke.

GHASP!! MY DETECTIVE SENSES ARE TINGLING!! I got the first news of this via email from an unknown email address. The email contained Apple's press release for the gPod. later, I recieved GR's weekly ezine, spam revolution, stating that they had an inside scoop.

Firstly, Why would Apple send ME their press release? its possible that GR just sent it to everyone on their mailing list to ensure widespread speculation. Secondly, if GR is one of the lesser ravens in the Gaming Industry Analysis business, how would they have an "inside scoop"?

They may have fooled me in the past, but Game Revolution remains DEFEATED ON THIS DAY!!! April first, Thesalus Betrademos has won his first victory over the devious evil of Game Revolution!!

Game Revolution continues to be my favorite of all online mags. And this is why - funny stuff like this.

Any information about a big thing like the 'gPod' that is nowhere to be found on it's own company's webpage? Yeah, most definiately a hoax. Well, most probably.

Am I the only one who finds it somewhat bothersome how Game Revolutions puts up copies of Bob & George, Penny Arcade & 8-Bit Theater? I mean, if they contacted everyone involved & asked for permission that'd be one thing, but I somehow suspect that isn't the case...

Well, GR does give credit to the comic's original creators, makes sure a link is provided (or at least the URL is visable), and only shows the current episode.

Nuklear Power AND VGcats have GR on their links pages, so theirs obviously cooperation there. I'm sure they have Bob and George's permission as well, and for whatever reason you didn't mention Penny Arcade and Little Gamers, GR must have their permission also. So what's the big problem?
