Shaolin Soccer

You've seen it? It rocks huh? Now go watch it again!

...What the heck is Shaolin Soccer? It sounds amusing... but I can't be sure, because I don't even know if it's like a flash movie, something I'd rent, an AMV, etc. Throw me a bone here. Gimmie a link if you can... tell me where I can rent it (or steal it... mwahaha... I mean... borrow it without asking).

I think your local movie store should have it. If not, try DLing it off the net. Its Jap/American dubbed. Its about these Shaolin Monks who decide to play Soccer cause they're lives have hit bottom. The Special Effects are the best!

I don't know what kind of version the U.S. is getting, but Shoalin Soccer should be in American/Cantonese. The Japs has nothing to do with this movie and it should be obvious, since everybody in that movie is chinese.

Shaolin Soccer

That show is ridiculously funny, though it's best for someone who understands Chinese and gets all the jokes. There's always something lost in the translation.

Eh...Chineese, Japanese. I'm an uncultured and apathetic American, I can't tell the two apart. Regardless I enjoyed the movie.

It's really lame at times... Especially at the end when the hero does his supermegaultrasoccerkick and blows the whole Evil Team away.

Derek R. 12-23-2003 10:26 AM

It was very Dragonball Zish. I think the Lame factor is what made it so appealing.

Dante 12-23-2003 10:27 AM

Actually more of the corn factor...
