Zatch Bell RP (Interest thread)
 

before I took the time to make the RP I thought I would see if anyone would care. I personally think the show is perfect for a RP. We all play humans with mamoto partners and over time learn new spells as our partners gain in strength.

So what do you guys think?

I call the Lightning mamoto!

Might I make a recomendation? I have, like many people, considered this as an RP idea. But I know I, as I'm sure most people, havn't really seen enough of the show to understand it compleatly. So maybe if we could ban together to find out more then the 5 episodes that have been shown. Otherwise we will end up altering rules and the like as we see more on the show. Which of course could lead to a lot of confusion.

Who needs rules? We just need to follow these basic guidelines:

1) We get a book and a mamoto.

2) We learn new spells in our book.

3) We blow up anything that moves, and blame it on a tournament.

I see you won't be using lightning then, sense its connected to freindship and not destruction.....missing rule 1 Emotion to Mamoto Connetion.

From what I've gathered, it's not really that the power is linked to any ONE emotion, but rather to emotions in general. The stronger the emotion of whomever is using the book the stronger the magic.

Of course, it IS only 5 episodes, so I can't be sure.

Also, if I were in this RP, I'd be the guy with a gun who just shoots you and your mamoto, then torches your book along with your cold dead corpse.

Which is why I won't be: Just pointing out the one GLARING plot hole we've had so far. It's all mamoto battling mamoto, but the mamotos are strong as hell compared to their human companions... and the humans are all that allow the mamoto to use their magic abilities... and all that stands between someone and burning the book to destroy them.

Which is why that damn Dark Mamoto keeps shooting his dark stuff at the human, not the mamoto.

I'm just waiting for a guy to pull out a gun and pop the girl using the Dark Mamoto guy.

She deserves it.

the mamoto and the humans have a symbiotic relationship. So the mamoto will protect his (or her, haven't seen a female mamoto though) partner. Besides judging by what these things can do, you wont get a chance to draw a gun.

Well I think they have explained enough to make an RP. Judging by the series most future episodes will just be plot. Plus we dont have to know everything. Remember the weilder of the blue and red book didn't know a thing about the tournament. Basically we can all be as niave as we wish.

This sounds interesting, but I know nothing of the story, can anyone tell me what else I need to know?
