Swords of fate: Tomb of the wraith pt2.

Drae'san reined in Proda and turned to look back at the group. He rode back towards them.

Zato turned.

Damn. Got carried away.

He dropped down from the tree, the sound of his movements outweighed amidst the nocking and release of arrows. He showed himself at the edge of the forest and waved to the rest to let them know he was still alive.

Tama tightened his armor around his body, as he felt arrows being reflected off. He winced as an arrow got through where his armor didn't cover and pierce his side.

"That's it. Somebody's gonna die." He pulled out Ryu-kashin, and his sword started to sing, feeling the rage from his spirit. He watched closely as the arrows flew at him. Giving a rough guess, he could find where their origin was. He located a spot. Several of the arrows were coming from a bush a little bit away. He scratched the ground with his sandals, and ran at the bush. He swatted arrows aside with his sword, and the ones he missed reflected off his armor. When he got close enough, and leapt up into the air, and held his sword up. The sword glew red, and flames started to lick out from the crystal.

"It's gonna be hot tonight!" He landed inside the bush, and buried the point of his sword into the ground. A large vortex of swirling fire engulfed the bush, and the four archers inside. Tama back-flipped out from what used to have been the bush. Another arrow hit him in the back, and he guessed that it was bruised. The deep cut in his side was starting to feel a little funny. His sword stopped glowing red, and turned yellow. Electricity started to crackle from it.

Khakoi was busy reflecting arrows off of her sword.

"You know, if you are only going to use me for this..." Illuser complained, "...maybe you should have gotten a sheild instead."

Dante 12-22-2003 09:44 PM

"Tama! Get one of them alive. There's no point thinning the assassin population out if we don't know where to go!"

Raiden 12-22-2003 09:44 PM

(OOC: Post #300! Hoo-ha!)

Tama lunged out with his electric sword, and a beam of pure electricity shot out of the blade and went shooting at the direction of the arrows. He could hear screams from people as they were electricuted to death. Ryu-kashin's glow started to dull, and Tama fell to one knee. He poked the point of his sword into the ground.

"Shit. What the hell was on that arrow?" Tama looked at where the arrow had hit him on his side. It didn't look infected, but it was a pretty deep cut. He had no idea what kind of stuff was going on inside his body. He felt an arrow reflect off his helmet. He clenched his face into a set mood, and slowly stood up. His sword glew brighter.

"If I'm going to die today, I'm gonna want some company!" His sword turned a dull grey, and a gust started to build it. He sliced his sword in the air, and a wind with the force of a tornado blew out from where his sword was. Several trees were ripped from their roots, and archers that were once hidden now had no cover to hide in. Tama smiled.

"Hello."

Squishy Cheeks 12-22-2003 09:50 PM

Drae'san killed several more assassins.

Raiden 12-22-2003 09:52 PM

(OOC: Nice post, Jad. I made a great set-up for you guys.)

Tama looked at the assassins that were left. They were huddling together in a group. He walked forward, and a little look of fear crossed their eyes.

"Let's see. I was only asked to spare ONE of you. Which means, the rest of you will die. Any volunteers?"

Dante 12-22-2003 09:55 PM

While he couldn't help admiring the samurai's spirit, this was a little too rowdy for his liking. He saw Longicolnis harassing a group of archers, who obviously were scared out of their wits by an piece of autonomous bladed steel coming at them with deadly intent.

Zato took the opportunity to take out his blackjack, and as they fled into the bush, he gave each of them a vicious thump about the head, knocking them out with nary a sound. He noted the location of their bodies, then he drew the short sword he had taken from the archer.

"Longicolnis."

The lance paused in mid-stroke and pointed at him.

"Kill."

He turned to Tama. "Pick a punk. Any punk. Then do what you want to the rest."

Raiden 12-22-2003 10:02 PM

Tama smiled. He then looked at the group. He analyzed them all, and decided to take a smaller guy. He looks like he could be easily intimidated.

"You. Will you tell us everything we need to know?"
"Never. An assassin never betrays his honor!"
"That's sad to know." Tama stabbed the man in the chest with his sword, and he dropped down dead to the ground. Tama looked out at the group.

"Your arrows put me in a bad mood. Anyone else have too much honor too live?" None of them did. Tama grabbed another one, and didn't even bother to ask him anything. He just pushed him back. As for the others, he faced off with them, and his sword glowed bright blue.

"Good bye." With a slash, the ground, bushes, and the group of assassins were all frozen alive. Tama then punched the figure hard, and they all shattered into frozen assassin bits.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish." Tama clutched his hand to his side. He was starting to get dizzy now.
