Kage does not mean lord, it means shadow. They say the five kages when they talk about them and they are the protectors of their respective village as well as its leader.
(I might have gotten something wrong there but...)

Yah your right in the Viz versions it says that, but in a couple different tranzlations that I trust more it means Lord, I mean come on wtf is Art of the Doppleganger! Why couldn't they just say shadow clone?

Hokage-Fire lord
Mizukage- Water lord
Raikage-Thunder lord or whatever
KazeKage-Wind lord
Tsuchikage-Rock lord(this is yours and you should replace it unless your trying to say you wan't to betray the rock to become the lord of the leaf :p "

I have never seen a translation like art of the doppleganger, but I would kill myself if I did, But basically. Kage means shadow, end of story. Why the hell do you think its called Kage bunshin? or Kage shuriken? Or why does it say kage means shadow in my dictionary?

Eh you may be right but remember words differ from the inflection in use in Japan so it might not be Shadow, I know of a word that has 5 different meanings when used in different ways.

Haru doesn't know him enough to care about the blood, and if he doesn't seem to be injured then the blood was his doing so he seems stronger and that makes her excited. but waaaaah! he didn't post and I can't be on for another 24 hours! so now I'm going to go overreact in my next post.

Its a little complicated. A person with a 2 in speed isn't that greater then a 1 in speed but a person with a 4 in speed in much faster then one with a 3 in speed. Its exponential.

So its like the richter scale? :p
