How is this comic I made?

I'm planning on reopening up a sprite comic, this one being significantly better. But before I do that, I decided to create a sample comic to see if I'm still up for the job.

Can you rate it on the following things:

-Attention to detail. For example, note how teleport effects vary between people, and how the mage uses n00b-speak.
-The graphical quality, despite being made entirely in Paint.
-Organization and format in general.

In addition, please ignore the following:

-Plot. Like I said, this is just a sample comic, and there's no background story at all. I just figured a fight would make a good test of my skills...
-Humor. Again, 'tis just a sample comic, so I wasn't gonna bother putting any real effort into the humor factor.
-Mouth effects. I dunno WHY I put those in there...

Thanks in advance,
ARF.

Their are only a few thing that I really see wrong. one is that it got hard to tell who was casting what in that fight scene. Especially in the 6th frame. I suggest making the blast seem to come from the person more instead of being above them.

The only other thing I recommend is getting some fonts from blambot.com for the text instead of having it all in Times New Roman.

For a big fight like this, you either need to use bigger panels, or center the fight on one duel at a time. With so much going on in each panel, it appears cluttered.
The detail and organization are good. I'd like to see what you plan to do for your actual comic.

It is a bit confusing, just because of the sheer amount of crap going on at the same time. Other than that, a good comic. I also suggest going into www.blambot.com to get a new font.

Oh, and the humor wasn't THAT bad. You're talking like you thought it was awful.

In other words, I like it.

While I do agree that most of the panels are quite congested, I can also say that the effects used in the fight were well done.

So on a scale from 1 to 10, I rate it a "Thumbs up."

I'm sorry Loyal2NES, I couldn't finish your comic. I wanted to, but the bright colors were making my eyes hurt. But wha I did read was interesting.

h4x m4ge: Yeah, I suppose I did mess up a bit there... But it was in Comic Sans, not Times New Roman...

MammothTank: Duly noted. Thanks for the advice.

UZ White: I DID find whatever humor in there to be not good. I've done far better humor in writing... But when I tried to download a font before, it wouldn't show up anywhere; I simply couldn't find it on my computer.

Arlia Janet: At first, I didn't know what you were talking about. Then I turned up the Monitor Brightness to 100 and saw what you might have been talking about. But if you were talking about the 5 folks attacking, that was entirely intentional: They were noobs, and I intended to make it look that way. And the easiest way to do that is generic recoloring and really bright colors.

Thanks for the compliments to all who gave them, and know that these folks WILL return in the real comic... But the noobs will have improved sprites after some time.

Pretty good, considering it was done in Paint with game sprites. Just a few things.
One, the battle was rather confusing in terms of who was doing what, etc.
Two, I have few problems with "l33t", but in a sprite comic it is evil. Evil, I say!
Three, use less garish colors for the recolors. Or just don't use recolors at all. Please... it burns.

To install a font on your computer download the font (I'd download it to your desktop) then go to start->control panel->fonts. If the font is in a zip file open the zip and drag the .ttf file(s) [there may be a notepad doc in there explaining how to install don't worry about that] and drop them into the fonts folder.

Now you should be able to use them in every program you have.

edit: I think the leet was there to accent the fact that they were noobs, and was suppose to be part of the gag.

Yes, but if I imagine myself as a prospective reader, a leet-speaking, recolored game-sprite is something of a turn-off. I'm not saying eliminate it, just be careful with it.
