((OOC so that how you spell Go'auld, I wondered... has anyone noticed that Everyone here is high powered? I think that, while this is fun, it takes away from some of the other aspects. someone bring in a low powered mage that just barely managed the spell to get him here. make him COMPLETELY dwarfed by everyone else. heh heh. just for shits and giggles.))

Gan laughed hystericly as he looked at her, "To see the world blow apart is truly great my dear after the way that we left it, but you must know that even Anti-psionic things cannot protect you from my dear brother who's dragon lore can still tell every last detail about you ,like your age wieght measurements, and your past as well as the occaisional future." he said to try and force her to a deeper fear than before. In truth he was amazed that all of this was coming out. With every little outburst and angering moment he was learning more of her problems and hatreds. This kind of reverse councelling could get him killed, but she needed to let all her feelings out or they just might explode upon the wrong person. He would rather she explode upon a unworthy him than innocent others.

She looked at Gan coldly from the table.

"Are you threatening me?" she said in a cold and calculating tone.

"Do not anger me. My resonance is too great for this sort of petty bickering. If some black miracle occurs while you're forcing me to act this way, it will not be my doing, nor my choice." she explains in a more concerned way. It might not have been an entirely true warning, but it sometimes did happen. She was suprised that her Soul-Flaying Gaze had no effect, but perhaps so. He was a psionic "psychiatrist" and not one she thought was particularly well-liked.

"I want you to know, psion, that this sort of behavior is considered a crime punishable by death in the realm. Therefore, I suggest you stop before I go report you to the Dynast outside." Shadow said jokingly, gesturing to Rheia outside, who was still engaged in a duel with Naharu. "Or I could resort to vigilante justice." she said more seriously, with a steely grin.

"Gan, it's not nice to read other people's thoughts when they don't want to be disturbed. Especially if said 'other people' are Abyssal Exalted. Their purpose in life is to flip out and kill people. They generally consider it a humanitarian gesture."

((ooc: I'll try that out a bit later Nikose, I have a good entrance for him.))

"Oh you mean she lets out her anger on an everyday basis?" he said oddly, "Well that eliminates threat and reason, I thought she kept it inside in order to cause others a bit of comfort. Notably that has always ended badly in other patients. Well if there is nothing to solve than, no I don't think you need much therapy, just a small bit of friendship to spurn you on. Next time you are in your world visit friends, family, and if you don't have any make some. Belive me there is a great psychological difference. Also personally I don't care about the laws I break though. 'A doctors job is to cure.' as they say and I will stop at nothng to cure my patients. Even if it risks my own health. A doctors job is to cure." he then smiled at her, "As well if you need to release some pent up anger right now I am right here. I am prepared for any harm I have gained deservence for so if you need to we can fight." he then picked up his drink, "If not then my job is done."

In a puff of smoke and a small fire a short dwarf like person appeared. He wore a small yellow hat with white trim on the outside. Hes tared down at his book continuously and kept looking up momentarily to try to find out where he was.

He looked up at all the people staring at him. "Hmmm, doesn't look like the realms of the avatars. Looks like I screwed up once again", he said to himself as he sat at a table reading his book. "Now I get what I was suppose to do", he frowned as he looked down at the book, "But now I won't be able to get to it for a while."

This was Herald, an apprentice mage from one of the "other" realms. He was always screwing up every spell he seemed to cast. As once he tried a fireball spell and ended up setting the teacher on fire. With him drew destruction with every step.

Herald walked over to the table where the others were playing poker. Kaze looked up at him and then looked back down. "Oh god its him", Kaze said as he got up from the table. "I won't let you cause any destruction here", he said as he charged energy up in his arms (like a hadoken). Herald seemed to cringe in fear.

Just then Jaryd looked over from the bar. "Hey, no violence in here. Even if it means getting rid of him." Kaze looked back at Jaryd and stopped charging. "Fine, but if he gets in my way I'm going to toss him through a window." Herald walked back over to his table and continuously read his book.

"Well, she's not your patient, and neither am I. It's rude and presumptuous to assume that others need help. Trust me, if they need it, they'll ask for it, Gan."

PhoenixFlame 04-26-2005 05:50 PM

Shadow looked at them both and sighed. They didn't know anything, but at least Gan wasn't harassing her anymore. "That won't be nessecary." She said to him, slipping a small metallic tube back into her pocket which she had covertly drawn during the exchange. "Just open your mind for a second." Shadow continued, holding up her right hand in a little gesture between her eyes and Gan's eyes. With a little snap of her fingers, she activated the "Encounter Banishing Gesture" charm.

The charms effects would rewrite Gan's memory and erase the last 12 seconds of psionic scanning he had done to her, and wipe most of his memory of any sensitive information he might have picked up off her. She didn't want to kill him, and this was the only other way to make sure he wasn't a threat. It was primarially used for tricking guards who might have seen her during infiltration, but it worked equally well on investigators.

"Now that that's settled..." Shadow continues, holding her head low over the table, "Maybe people can go back to their normal selves."

The Argent Lord 04-26-2005 06:14 PM

A vaguely asian-looking young man of about 17 enters the bar. Though he has a coldness unusual for a man his age, and gleaming silver eyes, his most striking feature is the silver-feathered wings that hang down his back like a cloak. The protrude from his back and through rips in his black trenchcoat. The trenchcoat hangs open across his chest, showing the gray dress shirt unbuttoned halfway. A black pistol hangs from one side of the the silver chain belt that supports his black slacks. The other side supports a small submachine gun. A black-hilted katana hangs across his back, sticking up on his left shoulder above the left wing, and rests sideways below the right one. He sits down at the bar, ignoring everything around him, and orders a flask of red wine. He downs it, then finally looks around the bar, appraising its occupants.
