I'm sorry Dynamite couldn't finish the real Game Master RP... This is its replacement, Game Master X, and I hope no one is too disappointed. Anyone who was in the original Game Master is welcome to re-subscribe, and I have no problem including people who weren't.

You may play as any hero or villain from any of these games.

Since I'll be playing as myself, here is a character sheet for me. No one else needs to post one, though; I know these characters well.

Age: 17
Appearance: Not especially tall, very skinny, brown eyes, very dark brown hair (almost black), pale skin, wears a T-shirt, blue jeans, and glasses.
Bio: Not the most popular kid at school, Alex had few friends and was ignored by the majority of students. This may have been influenced by the Game Boy Advance SP he took to school every day, and would play to kill time in lieu of conversation. Alex went to sleep after a particularly rough day, and in the morning, found himself not in bed but in a world he knew well but thought to be only imaginary...

Hmm... Sure. Why? Do you like the switchhook that much? I didn't list it because I never finished it. Couldn't find the fifth Essence.

Yeah, I like the game. Considering you fight the final boss in five stages, it's awesome. Anyway, I'll be that Link. Yay, I gots me cool equipment!

Let's hope this does better. I'll be using the character I had in the last game. And that would be Megaman from the second game. Though I am thinking of alternatives so I'll let you know if I change my mind before the rp starts.

to make this one last longer, could we make this vaguely pvp?

like two groups each headed by a unique character and eventually they fight each other?

Oh, I forgot to ask, do we start out with all the skills and stuff from the games?

Newb: You want to be Ezlo? Sure, go ahead. And as for the PvP idea... I'll get back to you on that, but it sounds interesting.

Kima Azure: Yes, you do. You get every ability/weapon/power from your game. For instance, Inbred Chocobo's MegaMan has Metal Blades, Atomic Fire, Leaf Shield, Bubble Lead, Air Shooter, Crash Bombs, Quick Boomerangs, Time Stop, and the three Items (a floating platform, a rocketboard, and a wall-climbing platform). Just make a brief list of all of your abilities/weapons/powers, for reference. That goes for everyone.

Well I would make a quick reference for my abilities, but you seemed to save me the trouble, so whatever.

Well, since you are in mine, notice the present tense on that, as in, thread not dead, I guess I'll join yours.

I've always wanted to play an RP as Rudy from Wild Arms. I think his personality reflects mine, so he'll be easy to roll play.

For those who don't know:

Apearance: Around five feet tall, blue hair tied up about forhead high with a red cloth, blue vest, white shirt, and blue jeans. He also, for some god forsaken reason, has a bandage on his left cheek from some perpectualy existant injury that never seems to go away no matter how many times you stay at the inn.

Equipement: Hand Cannon, Prism Ray, Rocket Launcher, Twim Orbs, Laser, Wild Rush, Arch Smash, Short Sword (he doesn't have infinite amunition on the others).

Powers: Arm Lock On (100% accuracy), Summon Gaurdian (of hope that is), Defender (take a hit for an ally and automaticly counter attack), Fury Shot (raise the natural accurasy and attack power of his fire arms by a factor of some number too high for me to count)

okay, I will decide whether he is ezlo as hat or ezlo as minish when the pvp thing is decided, but either way, I think that he has not so much specific magic as generalized magic, so I'll have to work with you to come up with spells that I'm allowed to use

Could you add Devil may cry 2 to the list of games? I want to be Dante.
If not I'll be cloud from FF7 with the following equipment.

Weapon: Ultima Weapon (as his life goes down, it gets weaker, but not by much)

Armor: Nova Armor (absorbs ice, fire, electricity, and halves physical attacks)

Accessory: Sprint Shoes (automatic haste)

Materia: (all maxed out) Comet, Bolt, Fire, mega-all (casts all effect on everything. That means the magic, and physical attacks. For physical attacks, it means I slash once, and it hits all the enemies) Knights of the round ( 16 knights come up and hit every enemy (each knight hits every enemy) once per day)

Limit break ( After he gets hit like, 25 times, he uses it) Omnislash (slashes the enemies like, 50 times)

He looks like he does in kingdom hearts. For those who don't know, he has a tattered red cape, his sword has bandages wrapped around the middle, and he wears dark colored armor.

Issac from Golden Sun The Lost Age with the equipment:

Weapon: Sol Blade (nothing related to SC)
Armor
Head:Thorn Crown (increase attack and defense)
Shield: Flame Shield (adds defense and resists fire)
Chest: Valkyrie Mail (increases chance of critical)
Shirt: Golden Shirt (increases max HP and defense)
Shoes:Golden Boots (Increases defense and agility)

Critical attack is Megiddo which sends a large ball of fire at an opponent. Only activates when critical is needed.

Meh. Since everybody seems to be getting these critical attacks, mine is a sequence of energy blades (from my sword).

Hey, if I'm wearing Ezlo, and since he's a party member, does that means any party I join will only have me and another guy as fighters (mostly)?

Well, I also need the ability to summon using the monster known as Djinn. Otherwise, it just seems useless to only be able to do criticals.

I know... it's just that I'm turning my own ability into something useful for the RPG worlds.

This also means that i have all the Psynergy abilities available to him at the Master class. This makes it so much more the sweeter.

I'm not sure, but I think that whoever is wearing me and I count as one person. not completely sure of course.

it could work like it does in ffx on the airship when cid has the gun that he fires every time it's his turn and he doesn't take up a party slot.

Oh well, that works. I wonder whether or not you'll get to do other stuff besides shrinking peoples.

ehhh ummm, let the Link on this one wear you(that sounds wrong)!! Issac cannot be caught wearing a talking hat!!!!! It would just be ...ummm... unethical!!

Yeah, we reasoned that already. Oh, it could be cool if Ezlo thought this Link was the one from MC.

Also, OoA is supposed to be between WW and LA. It sucks to know this...

I'm sorry guys, but I really don't want quite so many repeat characters. RMB, Isaac has already been done, so can you pick someone else? And OmniShadow, would it be too much to ask for you to do the same? I'm not saying I'll kick you out if you don't; I just want a little more variety.

And about FMT... I think it might've been the comic he drew, but I'm not entirely sure and I don't want to go looking any further.

RMB: That'll work. I usually give Garet the Darksword and the Cleric's Ring, so he'll have those along with spells like Flare Storm and Liquefier.

I_B: I hope not, but it seems likely; it keeps falling off the front page, and this time it's not due to Dynamite's absence.

IC: You can stick with Megaman if you like, unless you'd prefer to switch. Personally, I think the Megaman 2 powers are awesome. Metal Blades are my favorite MM weapon ever.

I wouldn't remember him. Never played FF7, don't have a PSX, can't buy one or the other. Also, I'd rather buy Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

Okay, I've got a better story written out. Here goes:

A video game is a closed universe, where characters fight for the betterment of all in magical worlds filled with monsters, magic, and treasure. Members of the real world often take control of one of these characters and participate in the struggle, albeit indirectly. However, someone or something has been traveling directly from game to game, leaving behind gaping holes through which monsters and characters wander, and disrupt the balance of these games. Heroes often fight one another, each believing the other to be a villain, while the villains simply run rampant and destroy things. Yet another unknown entity has chosen a member of the real world, someone who knows these particular games very well, to stop this being before it throws the entire video game continuum into complete chaos. However, he is not up to the task alone...

One thing though, last weapon I had Garet with in the game was Excalibur, is that a stronger weapon or is the Darksword?

The Darksword is, stat-wise, the strongest weapon in the game. Its Attack boost is +210, while the Sol Blade is only +200. I don't remember Excalibur's boost, but I think it was only about +190. The Darksword unleashes Acheron's Grief, which looks like Titan Blade, only it's purple and has a chance of inflicting deadly poison.

Edit: Chapter 1 is up. Let's see if this one is as good as Dynamite's was. At first, I want only one person to post; I'll PM everybody else when I want them to enter. I'm not going to find everyone all at once, like in the last Game Master.
Also, I think I know why the first Game Master keeps falling. Many of the players we had initially are gone; at least half of each party failed to reappear when the thread was revived.

Is it too late to sign up? I was having computer problems and just now have been able to acess anything at all. If so, I'll be Isaac, just like I was in the last game.

Sure you can play, but can you choose someone that hasn't been played yet? I want as few repeat characters as possible, and I already had Red Mage Black switch away from Isaac. Do you have a second favorite character to play as?

I was wondering, the world we are in now uses gil, so how much gil should barret have carried with him? he does come form a land where gil is the currency and he has alot at this point in the game (or at least i did: like 20,000-30,000) but if your items can be bought for only 78 gil, then we might want to make it a smaller number.

Well, Cornelia is the first town in the game, but we can say he only carried a portion of that amount, though that would still be a ton for that stage of the game. The only reason I can buy stuff for that price is that I'm only buying for myself, and I didn't buy any spells.

so how many gil should i have, give a number, because i don't konw how much is needed or what you are planning. For now ill say 300, but I can change to go higher or lower at any time

Yeah, it does move quickly at first; this is how the other GM went when it started off. It'll slow down, though; I have school to go to in the morning, so I'll have to log off soon, but I'll keep it updated throughout the week.
