Pet names...
 

Okay, I'm kind of doing this as a favor to a friend who needs to name a pair of ferrets, but I also am curious as to what fitting names people can come up with for pets.

HOw about this?

Ferrets: Slinky
Dog: Fetch(okay, that's kind of cruel)
Cat: I dunno
Fish: I dunno
BIrds: No clue.

My dog: Mickey "Cranberry" Lee

Ferrets: Sketch and Skitz, Bob and Marley, Vrinn and Virot. Pretty much anything that starts with the same sound or goes together like Louis and Hardy or Batman and Robin.


Dog: Scout, Taxi, Derringer, and Brink
Cat: Skitz, Frizz, __noun___ball
Fish: Who names fish? Umm...1, 2, red, blue?

BIrds:Cookie Monster, Big, and Masque.

I named my cat "kitty"

But mostly because she was stray, so we were always "here kitty!" when we were giving her food and stuff outside. So now that she's an inside cat and all, she just sort of remains "Kitty".

But I don't feel so bad about it. The vet's cat's name is Kitty as well.

Chinchilla-Otak
Dog-Cerberus
Bird-Roland
Otak is from the Wizard of Earthsea, Cerberus is Greek mythology, and Roland is from the Gunslinger series.

Hrm.

Dog: Chiba, Pearl, Carlos
Cat: Mojo, Brown-nose (for real, I did name one of my favorite kittens that...), Luna
Birds: Max, Ruby
Fish: Fry-pan, Fish-bait, Mickey
Ferret: Hrm. No idea... never really wanted a ferret as a pet. Chinchillas are much cooler.
Chinchilla: Pimp, Gonzo

Some of these are deceased (i.e. taken by a 19'' Firestone tire).

Dog: Daisy
Cats: Franky, Squeaker (my brother named it :P)
Lizards: Oswald and Alfons

My dogs:
Nortan- old english bulldog
maggie- english bull mastiff
beans- miniature dachshund
Buster- Black lab

My cat- Cepheus (After the constilation)

I had a cat named "Beep" because thats what his meow's sounded like. I also like the idea of naming your dog "Arf" so when it comes time to call him in for the night, you stand on your front porch yelling "Arf! Arf? Arf? Arf Arf Arf!" "SHUT UP OVER THERE!" "ARF ARF! ARF! ARF!"

I've got a bird called Koko.

We've no idea how we came to that name, but it sounds good.
