"Come on Link, let's get going. It'll be a fine adventure!"

"Eh... how do you know my name anyway?"

"What do you mean how do I know your name? We just rescued princess Zelda together! By the way, how did you fare against my wayward apprentice without me?"

Link sweatdropped. "Which Zelda are we talking about? And who's your apprentice? In fact, how about you tell me more about the place you're from?"

"Well, we had best keep up with the others. I'll try to restore your memory on the way. I'm talking about the princess of Hyrule. I am what humans call a minish, and my apprentice turned me into a hat. After this, he released many different kinds of monsters such as ropes, like-likes, octoroks, and even some moblins. In the midst of all this, he turned Zelda to stone, and so you began to search for a way to change her back."

(assumption that link steps through the portal here)

"well, the short of it is that you rescued me from some slimes in the woods and I shrunk you so you could get help from the other picori. after this, you searched for the four elements so that you could retemper the sword that vaatu broke into the legendary four sword. Once this was done it shot beams that restored stone to flesh and you rescued zelda. It was at about this time that I was sucked off of your head and into that chest you found me in."

"What do you remember of what I just recounted?"

Link was staring ahead with a braindead stare. "Eh... the talking hat thinks that I got four swords and broke a chest and saved Zelda from slimes..." he then snapped back to reality. "Hey! That sounds similar to when I saved Impa from those Octoroks! That is, when she was still possessed by Veran... Argh!" He then calmed down. "At least I defeated her... and now she can't harm anyone else."

(OOC: Start chapter 2. We'll assume Rudy stepped in the portal while Link and Ezlo argued.)

OOC: Not quite. I still want everyone to post so I know we're all on the same page. When everyone's reported entering the portal, that's when I'll start Chapter 2.

Rudy looked around him after everyone left. One thing's for sure, he didn't recognise any of it. Maybe the portal was a good idea after all.

Without a word, he stepped inside.

Edge was confused. More confused than he had ever been before, and more confused than he probably would ever be. "I guess I should go through the portal..." he said. Edge ran up to the portal and jumped through it.
