OOC: Robots don't have that good of AI... All they are programed to do is be voice controlled, and shot things without Maverick virus... (That means it's not talking back to you, since a Rep isn't piloting the chopper)
|
ooc-Miss a couple hours and miss a lot, eh? Well, I'll make a quick post
Schadwe wasn't sure what happened, things had been going downhill since he got here. Now I'm inside a healing unit...what happened to me. He seriously would order some upgrades if he couldn't handle a couple Mavericks. Some bodyguard I am. He made sure to put these Mavericks into his memory banks, in case they were of any importance or should they appear again. When he got out, and should he meet them again, they would pay. |
Uriel was surprised for a moment when no reply was forthcoming.
Right, they're AS. "Squad, fall in behind us. We're going in." |
The AI chopper pilot still hovered in place, and, in a robotic type voice, responded. "Sensors idicate large Resistance forces near your position. Continue with orders?"
|
"Disembark first, then fall in behind us. Carry on."
|
ooc-I'm assuming there are a lot of robots (this is an important mission afterall), and that there are at least a few guard reploids stationed here. Also, I'm bored.
Silence...I couldn't stand it. I was blind, deaf, and mute. Unable to affect the outcome of anything, I hated the feeling that came with that. I would not simply just stand aside. I knew something was about to happen, and wether it was to me, to my charge, to the base, or even my fellow hunters I had to do something. Besides, I had spent enough time in the unit, if you could move you could fight. Schadwe emerged from the healing unit prematurely, and while the damage still not completely repaired he started to make his way towards the exit. A reploid saw what he was trying to do, but he stopped him with his scythe. "Don't even try to stop me. I'm still you're superior, in both rank and skill, and you have to obey my orders." "But-" "Do not but me...we're under attack, and it won't matter if I'm being repaired or not if the Mavericks overrun us. I'm better off fighting. "Gather the the defence force and the hunters. Even if it's just those three we won't take any chances, I won't allow any stupid risks anymore. They're hunters like me and the others, and they were able to force us back. "I'll protect the entrance with the team under my command, the other hunters will worry about any offensive. Did you get all that?" The reploid hesitantly nodded. "Then why are you standing here? Get going!" "Yes sir!" the guard replied, before running off. Schadwe sighed as he watched the retreating back, he didn't like how today was going. Oh well, he thought as he started to his self designated post, It's better than not doing anything at all, and I have revenge to exact afterall. |
Mephitis entered the base and saw Schadwe out of the tank.
"Schadwe, what are you doing? Your wounds haven't healed yet! Mephitis attempted to restrain Schadwe. |
The AI chopper pilot still didn't land. "Original coordinates have been deleted(You left where they were supposed to land). Input new coordinates." (Make something up)
At the Resistance base... Shade had gotten his disk throwers unjammed, and the fried wires replaced, and was now in the radio room. He had just requested reinforcements, but no Hunters were available, but guard Reploids were on there way. He exited the teleporting room, just in time for the Reploid Schawde had commanded to run into him. Quickly, that Reploid informed him on what Schawde had ordered. Shade thought for a second, then responded. "Ignore those orders." The guard looked a little shocked. "But sir..." "I said ignore them. I outrank him, so do this instead. You, and..." Shade saw another guard Reploid run by. "And you!" The Reploid stopped. Shade poitned at the first guard. "You go to the right turret, and look out for a chopper. Grab another guy on the way and tell him to look out for it to. If you see it, tell the gunner to shot at it if it's in sight." Then he pointed to the other guard. "You do the same, but with the left tower. But first, stop in the control center and tell the entire base (Intercom) that all non-hunters should get their weapons and go to there battle positions inside the base. Most likely the drones will be coming first, so us Hunters will circle around and attack them, and you take care of the reinforcements. If the Mavericks come first, they should be easy targets for all in position and the turrets, so target them, but only if the chopper has already landed." The two guard just stared at him. "Understood?" They both quickly saluted, yelled "Yes Sir!" then ran off. |
My god, these fuckers are dumb.
Uriel could feel the field charge dissipating. He'd probably have to invoke it again before the attack. Gutx and Vile were already hunkered down behind a few large rocks near the base, but they'd need the cannon fodder to proceed. "Mech squad, land at original location then proceed to Mike Golf Romeo zero-four-three-five-four-five on foot. Deploy around us in an all-round defense formation. Send one unit to my location, no... make that two." Uriel crouched down behind his rock again, then clenched and unclenched his fist. Soon... soon... |
(OOC: whew, in all of the holiday excitement, I got pretty far behind ^^;; Lessee if I can catch up easily.)
Freija was being rushed to a safer place, however, as she walked by, she saw Shawde. She could immediately tell he was almost offline. <and he's still fighting! If he keeps this up, there will be nothing left of him to repair!> She broke away and dashed in the direction of Shawde, <They'll most likely object, but I'm not going to let him destroy himself!> |
