Here are some unconfirmed pics of the new Xbox. These are from The Magicbox.

Looks like they are going to go to wireless controllers and you can stand it up on it's side just like the PS2.

IGN reported a list of launch titles for Microsoft's Xbox 360, which includes:

* Perfect Dark Zero (Microsoft / Rare)
* Project Gotham Racing 3 (Microsoft)
* Test Drive (Atari)
* Need for Speed Underground 3 (EA)
* Burnout (EA / Criterion)
* New Racing Game (Namco)

In addition, Microsoft plans to launch Xbox 360 with 15 - 20 titles, including a revised Halo 2.5, which features high resolution graphics, 720p, wide-screen support. Halo 2.5 is supposed to be a bundled title with the hard drive add-on.

I don't know about this... I rather pay more attention to that Ourcolony thing that is going on.

I can't see the pictures. Could you link to your source?

Looks like the new X-Box will have racing game fans coming. Though I am not sure about the colors. No where near as attractive as the original X-Box. If PS3 of Nintendo Revolution is slicker looking, I get the idea they might gain an extra edge of sales. It has been proven that slicker looking machines sell more.

Lucerin Red 04-26-2005 08:14 PM

I like it, I really didn't find the original Xbox all that attractive, just annouyingly large, this does look like a much more appropriate size

Hatake Kakashi 04-27-2005 04:55 AM

Damn! A perfect dark title coming out for the Xbox 360? If the original is anything to judge from, the console will be worth getting for this title alone. I can already taste the booby-trappage!

A pity they're focusing so much on the racing games these days anymore though. Hardly any replay value at all... especially since after Red Asphault (Playstation), most racing games don't tend to come equipped with guided cruise missiles and "Hand of God" landmines. I'd really rather see them focus more on the DOA series or a few more RPGs. The graphics engines could really amount to some spectacular games if used right.

Well, one thing...

THE SYSTEM IS STILL HUGE!

Gosh, could they ever make a more car friendly system like the gamecube which fits almost anywhere?

Karrrrrrrrrrrresche 04-27-2005 04:29 PM

i dont think the pics are real it just doesnt look like a console looks like a pc witch would be cool its a pc i could play warcraft look at certain things i wont mention here on google and then play halo 3 without switching a cable

Nikose Tyris 04-27-2005 04:49 PM

if you wont mention it, dont imply it.

Halo 3 is going to be called Ark, for the last friggin time.

those leaked images are fake. period. You need a better source than a tower that looks identical to the one I am using right now. In fact, that tower looks EXACTLY like my cousin's New Alienware computer. so me thoughts are, it's a fake.

the games are likely, though. Rare has probably sold out to Microsoft, to the despair of all Perfect dark fans.

umm rare is owned by microsoft, nintendo sold it back around the launch of the current generation, however, this was probably a good thing on the side of nintendo, because what has rare done since then....grabbed by ghoulies....and that's it, also none of the original staff that made such games as perferct dark are still on rare's staff, so I really don't expect too much from the new perfect dark game, and I wouldn't stake buying a system soley on such a game
