Hey, all of you. Just wanted to let you know...

You guys rock. ^^ I really enjoyed reading through the RP, y'all did an awesome job with this. It's sad to see it end, even if the end was mostly happy. But that's my only complaint. XP

Rock on, y'all. *reps*

Thanks, Cloud. ^_^ I can't speak for everyone else, but I know it was an immense pleasure for me to be part of this, even if I had my moments of suckage. ^^' If there should ever be a sequel, feel welcome to hop in. ;)

Oh, and as for what I was posting about:

Attached is the bribe I used to get Wolf to post that very last post tonight. That's right... I had to bribe him with hugz so he wouldn't torture us again like he always does. -_^

Hey... that looks more like Monk than nayone else... you bastard.

Aw man... I don't wanna see this go. This has been a aprt of my life for the past two years... I mean... what do I do now?

Oh yeah! Work on my RP idea, iron out the last remaining kinks, then get it up online to see if anyone is willing to bite...

Zephie 06-25-2005 12:34 AM

Monk doesn't wear tennis and blue jeans. =P

MC43 06-25-2005 02:10 PM

BUT... he wears a bandana...

Zephie 06-25-2005 02:19 PM

Hey, talk to Wolf about that, I just went off an old concept piece he drew...

Which is not an exclusive item here. Wraith had a bandanna made for him by Scrya. I had Wolf wearing a bandanna, mostly after recieving a cut on his head as a form of bandage, but occasionaly, wearing a bandanna as standard gear.

Know why?

Cause Wolf was constantly playing Solid Snake to your Raiden throughout the early part of this RP.

Not an insult, BTW, just a statement of fact.

EDIT: Thank you for the kind words, Cloud. Should a sequel arise (it's looking very promising) you should consider joining.

I too would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to those in this story. I'm a big fan of near-future settings, especially with a cyberpunk basis, and this was a pretty good example. I liked the Omni-Falcon idea in particular, though I think the nanites got out of hand. But that's just me.

So hats off to you all, on what I think is the third or fourth RP on the Nuklear Power Forums to actually, legitimately finish.

And you have yet another person to give all of you congratulations. I really do respect you for going on with that RP for so long, because it really gives me a sense of hope for other RPs.

What I mean by that, is that Cloud and I have both been in Shield of Lies since the beginning, and seeing this RP end is telling me that SoL can too. Lets just hope saying that won't immediately put the thing to death.

Anyway, should a sequel arise, I might or might not join. I always found it fun to look in and read snippets of the RP (I never read the whole thing, but I might read it when I have time). Something is telling me that I should just sit back and have fun just reading it, so it all depends on how I feel when it starts.

MC43 06-26-2005 12:20 AM

(Looks around) Wow... so many people who weren't involved that are sending all these congrats and thanks. It really makes me feel bad to see this go. I want to be the second to thank you all for your kind words, and I hope that maybe we can do it again.
