Dear Melfice:
I fail to see why we should go through the trouble (and wasted space, and materials, see below) of siphoning used magma back into a resovoir, or the volcano, or wherever, for the purpose of using the magma in other pursuits, when one considers that we can simply draw off more of the fiery blood from the (inexhaustible) magma vent itself.
Furthermore, such an undertaking would involve significant taxation on our magma-proof resources, especially considering how little of it we have:
Bauxite is in extremely limited supply, and now that our Queen is here, we will no longer be able to request any more of it.
Iron does not exist in natural form in the area (barring rare veins of Hematite), and can only be harvested from captured and killed goblins. For my own part I'd rather use that iron for things like armor and steel production, maybe crafts or goblets in a pinch;
Nickel still has yet to be excavated, last I heard, and likely will remain that way for some time to come unless an exhaustive search is performed;
And Adamantine is in finite supply and far too valuable for such pursuits.
