Among other things, the United States is a major contributor to Israel's defense budget, and we've devoted even more money and resources to either placating or intimidating every other Middle Eastern country from just getting together, invading Israel, and handing it back over to the Palestinians.
If they want us to keep doing that for them, it would be wise for them to take our advice.
