Okay Lev I have no idea what half of those acronyms mean.
Anyway, I really like
Jerusalem's two LPs on the archive.
A Scotsman in Egypt is unbelievable and his
San Andreas one was a good read too. Did a nice job of fleshing out everyone's characters.
LT Danger's LP of Neverwinter Nights 2 and Scorchy's LP of
KotoR 2 are good for the same reason. All the massive asides explaining the thoughts behind the game and the cut content. Lt Danger's ongoing LP of
Mask of the Betrayer is even better, acting as really interesting in depth review of everything behind one of the better written games ever. From DnD trivia, to the mythological backgrounds of the various archetypes and stories to discussions on the psychology and philosophies of the various characters. Basically it's a literature student tearing into a game the same way they normally go into books, and it's interesting to read.
Also probably doesn't bear mentioning as they're nearly as well known as
The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing,But I'll mention them so people get some idea what might have been the origin of our massive number of Pokemon LPs.
RedChocobo's (now Chorocojo on SA) LPs of the various Pokemon games are great. He just started on Platinum too. Zorak's
Pokemon Quartz is also hilarious due to the sheer WTF present in the romhack he played.
On Dwarf Fortress don't forget Headshoots and Syrupleaf. Actually preferred Syrupleaf to Boatmurdered and Headshoots myself. The massive community interaction created a bizzarely alive fictional world.
