Okay, so maybe vampires and werewolves wasn't the best examples. Orcs and elves probably does fit better. Regardless, exposing someone to any magical creature would certainly open their minds to the possibility that more exist. You'd have to be a moron to believe the story that the only magical creatures that exist are dragons, especially after someone's already lied to you about
that.
That said, Jack doesn't have to believe it's a dragon, although the dragon-like appearance, wings and scales and whatnot are a dead giveaway. You'd just have to come up with a better story than dinosaur or lizard-dog.

The closest thing to a student council or PTA meetings is probably the social club I dumped Jack into.
Honestly, I have no idea what the hell a social club is, but I figure it's the one that's in charge of organizing all the big events like homecoming and the winter ball and prom and everything in-between.
