In the meantime Jim had reached the conductor's car, who was trying desperately to speed the train with extra coal and escape the robbery, but Jim shook a hand at him and the man, obviously terrified, merely nodded and stopped. Though, Jim couldn't be certain if he was more terrified of the robbers, or of the heavily armed bounty hunter.
Before he could throw the switch though, he heard the first of the robbers jump onto the train. With a sigh he grabbed the brake handle and wrenched it back, causing the train to lurch and skid to a sudden halt, and hopefully throw the would be robber to the ground hard enough to take him out of the coming fight.
"Crazy sonofa..." the bounty hunter mumbled to himself, "jumpin' on the train? Kids these days..."
He continued muttering as he put his back up against the wall of the conductor's car and glanced out, making certain at least most of the bandits were in ear shot.
"Now, listen 'ere, ain't nobody got to get hurt today what already hasn't been," he shouted, even as he mentally prepared himself to kill the men. "The way I've see it, you've all got two options! Option A, ya'll lay down your guns and me and my friends bring you in to the nearest Sheriff so you can all face proper justice in the judicial system. Option B, on the other hand, is less friendly and a lot more deadly. So's, it's up to you how this'll go down!"
Jim cleared his throat a bit to take care of an itch that had come up from all the shouting, and waited for one of them to do something stupid like shoot at him.
