The train screeched to a rough halt. Everett found himself being slammed into the seat in front of him, much to his displeasure.

He let out a stream of muted curses as he separated himself from the upholstery. He quickly opened his medical bag, a hint of worry on his face as he examined its contents for damage.

"I swear, if that idiot move of theirs broke ANYTHING," he hissed, examining a trio of small glass bottles, "there will be absolute hell to pay."

Satisfied nothing was broken, the doctor finished his inventory and tucked the bag under his arm. He fished his bowler out from under the seat where it had fallen and replaced it on his head. He supposed he had better see what was going on out there.

He edged over to one of the car's dingy windows. The exterior of the glass was dusted in a fine coat of soot and road dust, but the doctor could make out the figures standing outside. Despite the plentiful gunshots, nobody appeared to be actually HITTING anything. Well, not anything HUMAN, anyway.

"Ah, so he can hit the broad side of a horse, but not the fat monstrous ogre riding him?" Everett grumbled, shaking his head. Let's face it, Everett is kind of an asshole when he's not trying to get money out of people. He looked back at the horse, bleeding out into the dust some feet away. "Poor thing. That's a real shame." Although to be fair, he wasn't entirely sure which was worse: ending the animal's life this way, or forcing it to live on, carrying that obese lunkhead Oner around on its back all day.

He tried to clean the window with his handkerchief, but seeing as the majority of the problem was on the outside, this action didn't accomplish much. Really, he should probably just shut up and sit down, seeing as how the aforementioned obese lunkhead has a gun and a posse on his side while Everett had a two-shot pistol and a team of not-particularly-loyal-to-him gunmen who were currently scattered randomly about the train.

He let out a huff of displeasure and slumped back down into his seat. No point in getting himself shot.
