True, I think it may have just been the way he said it. Like in other games it would just be generic "food" item, I can imagine in Mafia 2 it's like, some guy is running through a house shooting bad guys, shoots some guy who's sitting and eating a salad, and then is like "Ooh, a salad! Nom nom nom" and then his health is restored.
