Right so, before I get to my new bio, I'll just reiterate what I said at the end of my last post. Asked Bard a few days ago if he'd be okay if Rose/Teal took his character with them when they teleported to the Valker's ship - he said he was cool with it. Otherwise, a lot of my last post was basically me filling in a few minor plot holes regarding combat in space.
To do that, Rose teleported into the Nuklear Power Science Institute sometime between Arhra II's defeat and the NPF Azure's takeoff and stole Arhra V's inventions! Functionally speaking, their addition doesn't really change anything. But I wanted to make the handwave less obvious.
Moving onto the profile:
Aside from situation specific costume changes, I've also heavily altered my male character model. Took out the cat ears and replaced them with normal (pointed) human ears, and replaced the cat tail with a thicker fox tail. Basically, I decided to go Kitsune - seemed to suit the character I'd be playing with - instead of cat boy. Other areas of heavy change are the ability section, which is a lot more explicate than the old version.
I don't imagine anything in here will be broken (given its a Fury-specific Profile), but since I'm not the GM, I'll leave that call to Inbred.
Anyway!
Name: (Fury) Teal
Class: Fury Possessed
Appearance: 5'9, slim build, pale skin, burning scarlet eyes and long pale blond hair, worn tousled around his head and face. The hair extends just past his shoulder blades and is smoother in the back. Ears, normally hidden by his thick blond hair, are pointed but otherwise human. Wears a sharply tailored black tuxedo and a matching pair of black dress pants over a candy apple red dress shirt and black tie. Shoes are sturdy and made of black leather. Has a long, luxurious and full pale blond fox tail - there's a hole cut in his pants for it. Fury Teal's surrounded by an aura of vivid red light at all times.
Fury Rose Form, When the situation requires it, Teal changes into a girl named Rose. She's 5'7, slim, pale skinned, has a thick mane of coppery red hair and a pair of burning scarlet eyes. Her hair extends just past her shoulder blades, and covers her slightly pointed ears. Wears a strapless and sleeveless deep crimson ball gown, decorated with layers of overlapping ruffles and a pair of candy apple red, high heeled, shoes. Her tail is hidden beneath the gown, but is bright orange in this form. Fury Rose is surrounded by an aura of vivid red light at all times.
Abilities: Most are inspired by previous RP characters. They've been adapted slightly for this setting. Tried to keep it vaguely balanced, but the Fury makes that...difficult.
On Drugs, Taking four doses of Fury does wonders for your body. Teal's stronger, faster and much,
much harder to kill than before. In battle, he uses low-level flight magic to perform acrobatic attacks and recoveries, and relies on a combination of magic, teleportation spells and his claws - currently strong enough to damage steel - to defeat his enemies. His personality seems to have been affected somewhat as well. In addition, his long range, supportive and non-lethal abilities seem to have deteriorated overall.
Infinite Mana, Using the power granted by the Fury Pills, Teal can put
a lot more energy into each of his spells; which come in two varieties. Unstructured magic use is, basically, Geomancy. In other words, Teal can put his magic into something around him and control it, provided he can touch it first. In addition to allowing for some creative attacks, it also works well for parrying supernatural attacks, like a fireball. It doesn't work very well on people though. Thanks to the Fury, the strength, degree of control and range of Teal's manipulation has has skyrocketed. A list of Structured Spells - specific magical attacks - as well as the rules for Teal's teleportation abilities,
can be found here.can be found here.
- Crimson Hammer, A blast of magical force that happens to look like a really big, really red, lightning bolt. Can cause slight burns, but the real threat of the spell is kinetic force. It makes walls explode and can throw someone across a room! Getting hit hurts.
- Bloody Maiden, Makes magical swords out of fury energy, then throws them in a gust of wind. They stab things and stay there until Teal - or another powerful mage - dismisses them. If Teal has enough time to concentrate and prepare, he can teleport the swords first so they surround the target. Unfortunately, time like that's hard to come by in a battle.
- Flash Fire, A variable spell that conjures magical, fury infused, fire. It's just really hot. Teal can control the flames with his mind. They can only appear nearby him.
- Rose Trap, A remnant of Teal's Fashion Magic, this spell summons bright red ribbons and scarves - infused with Fury energy to strengthen them - to trap and entangle targets. The ribbons can also, in a pinch, be used as material to make new outfits.
- Carmine Flare, A remnant of Teal's Fashion Magic, this spell releases a blast of clothing destroying energy. It doesn't work on armor. A mostly harmless ability, unless you happen to get your power from your costume, or are weak against fighting naked. When he's particularly emotional, this ability may manifest as an aura.
- Scarlet Reaper, A slash designed to cut through supernatural barriers and leave a wide gash in its wake. It won't cut anything the weapon couldn't naturally; it’s basically a dispel slash. The ability also increases the size of the weapon used while active.
- Death Blossom Absolute, Teal attacks everywhere (his weapon can reach) at once. Functionally, it surrounds him in an orb of slashy-cutty-killing for a moment, making it an extremely effective all-directional defense. Because of an obvious charge-up it isn't hard to dodge, and using it tires him out; even the Fury has a hard time with all that reality bending.
- Teleportation, a type of magic that allows Teal to reposition himself, recover quickly, and sometimes, evade attacks. However the slight cast-time associated makes evasion's usually impractical, especially when the enemy surprises him or is attacking too quickly for him to find time to focus on the teleport. Under the Fury's influence, red lightning crackles around him when prepares to teleport, and he usually reappears in a bright flash of red light. If the jump is long, red lightning will appear over the destination point, ruining the potential for a surprise attack.
Yaoi Fan, An ability that, in simple terms, means Makeouts = Super Powers. Or rather, give a really nice magical item (each subject to GM approval at generation). Only works on real boys and only one item may be made for created per person. After the kiss, a commemorative card is also generated! You'll never be able to forget what you had to do either.
Equipment:
Big Bad Wolf Com-Link, A pretty black radio that fits neatly into Teal's ear, there's a white silhouette of a growling wolf on it. Thanks to a little magical tweaking, he can use it to communicate with any of his allies at the touch of a button! He's using it instead of Arhra V's Comm-Link; but it serves the same purpose functionally.
Dragon Dagger, A talking dagger that usually serves as Teal's main weapon. Since taking the Fury, the weapon's started to refuse to transform for him, making it mainly effective for summoning his Giant Mecha right now. It appears to be a black and gold bladed dagger, with a blue-green crystal core set in the center of the Guard. When if can transform, it usually becomes a Bow or a Scythe.
Dragonzordy Nippon Custom: Kawaii Varient Teal Version 2, After the Death Wish fell, Teal spent some time in Future Nippon. While he was there, his
Giant Mechanical Dragon was combined with, uh,
this. The result was result is
horrifying to behold. It shoots missiles from its fingers, lasers from its ribbon and eyes, breathes fire, has a laser drill tail and a laser whip! Also long, flowing, blond hair and a sailor suit. Fear of the Godzilla Threshold prevents Teal from using it proactively; it also has a limited battery life. Probably won't be called in.
