I'll never forget the first time my brother was playing through Ocarina of Time. He had gotten up to the spirit temple but couldn't figure out how he was supposed to learn the song to get back as Young Link (he knew that much was obvious). After two days of fruitless attempts he finally brought the strategy guide. The solution, was to walk back out the doors, every time he reached the temple he used the Ocarina to teleport back to the temple of light while in the entrance.
