All that folklore was probably created a long time ago when people were still scared of their shadows, lived in caves and believed that they invented dirt.

I think Pokedex entries were designed to be utterly ridiculous. Check out Torterra's Platinum entry...

"Some Pokemon are born on a Torterra's back and spend their entire life there."

If that's the case, why the hell am I bothering with tall grass when my starter's back is its own little Safari Zone?
