Captains SNES dialogue: that's just so great. So terrible and great at the same time. Also, any takers? Will this be the final reveal of Mother Brain's true evil, or will this be another author fake-out? This
is King Hippo telling the story, after all. I, personally, still think it's real, but, the latter is a possibility.
Also. I just finished catching up with
Errant Story for the first time in... four years? Longer?
Anyway: wow. The plot is
so slow, that stuff we knew was coming for quite some time is finally wrapping up. Not to say it's not entertaining. It's quite a fun read. But guys, really: I knew way back whenever Ian first
got the whole godlike power thing that
Luminosita's days were numbered, the elves
were in for it, and
Meiji was still due for her upgrade, not to mention that it was obvious that
the deities really weren't. It really took us four years to get all those plot points out? Really?
Really? I must admit, though, I was expecting some sort of time-pass, rather than continuing moment-by-moment as it has... which, strangely, makes the excruciatingly slow reveal seem slower still, to me, at least. Again, it's not that it's boring - it's just that it feels like it took forever to get to obvious events.
In other news,
Weregeek has had some interesting plot-bombs lately. Nothing surprising, save the fact that plot is, in fact, progressing in more-than-one-comic-at-a-time fashion.
