I don't typically download games for my PSP, so I'm not aware of what's currently available. However, the following PSP titles are pretty good...
Daxter. About as challenging as Jak 2, but admittedly, falls short on story. Great gameplay however.
Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Decent play in the Jak sections. The flight sim thing is lacking in play value. Still, not bad.
God of War games for PSP. Like God of War? Get them, otherwise skip. Ghost of Sparta has a better story & better play overall.
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. Pretty much like any other R&C game. Might be worth your time.
As for the PSP Metal Gear, are we talking about Peace Walker, Portable Ops, or one of the Acid games? If it isn't Peace Walker, you should get that game. Portable Ops, well that isn't half bad, considering the PSP lineup.
Never tried either Acid game.
