Keep up the good Work!
I think that you focusing on that single situation and not jumping back and fourth between character situations was a good way to continue. It would have felt awkward and/or confusing if you would had jumped from Erin/Ith to Kit to Elizabeth or someone else, especially if the events of one didn't directly affect or be directly related to the other.
