WTF All right, this has gone far enough (The Grammar Nazi Topic)

Quit saying "wreck havoc". It is pronounced "wreak havoc".

I know, I know. Somebody fucked up a year ago on a major news network, or possibly during a debate, or maybe some political pundit decided to be all down-home and folksy for the viewers. Even I cannot remember the exact origin of this turn of phrase, though I have heard it more and more often on television as the months have passed by. I have turned a blind eye to this until now.

But you, sir, are an elected official. I should not be able to tune into C-SPAN and hear the phrase "wreck havoc" coming out of the mouth of an elected official. You, good sir, are not a fucktard, or at least I should hope you are not. Quit sounding like one. I can only assume you even went to college, despite your clamoring that college is the domain of the liberal elite.

Quit saying "wreck havoc". Immediately.

Ahem.

This is the Grammar Nazi topic. Within this topic is where we define the line. No peccadillo is off limits. No offense unworthy of disdain.

MY FRIENDS.

LAY DOWN THE GRAMMAR HAMMER!
