Also new IPs in the past year? I'd say the best would be Sleeping Dogs, Kid Icarus Uprising (not new really but a resurrection of an IP dead so long it's basically new, the mechanics are completely original too). Binary Domain isn't on the same level as the previous but it's cheap and underrated.
There's more but they're just off the top of my head.
What consoles do you have anyway?
