Why not S.P.A.R.T.A.N.s? (Special Police Armed Reservists & Troop Auxilary Network)

I mean, it isn't exactly like Spartans are copywritten, and I think the 300 joke would go over a bit better. I mean, with a name like Martans, I thought it was a joke on some sort of Big Lots store that I wasn't getting (I think its called Martin's).
