Don't worry, we're generally nice to newbs, unless they make asses out of themselves. Make sure you've read the rules, since that's the most common thing that new people get nailed on (mostly it boils down to two decrees the mods gave us: Thou shall not spam, and Thou shall not flame. There are others, but they generally don't come up that often)
