Oh yeah. Gnomes and goblins have been pulling this stuff on both sides since Warcraft 2 at the latest. Encounters with the Venture Co., Defias Brotherhood, and the entire instance of the irradiated capital of Gnomeregan at the early levels of WoW have all involved battles with various mecha and robots. There are also massive demonic mechs in Outland called Fel Reavers that you don't want to get in the way of, including one named "Negatron" that regularly attacks the Goblin rocket base, Area 52, in Netherstorm. Not to mention all the neat little toys you can build with the engineering skill. None of this is new in the slightest.

I mean, this is awesome. this is really awesome. Being able to Have Vehicle combat on a raid against the CPU fighting machines
Now this I'm less thrilled about, as I've been largely bemused with the vehicle combat so far in Wrath of the Lich King. Like, it's fun and well enough implemented in some occasions. Unfortunately, the other 90% of the time it's one or two completely unnecessary vehicle events tacked on to the vast majority of quest chains in Northrend with awkward controls and underpowered abilities. On several occasions, I've actually found it easier to just get out and fight normally.

So yeah, I'm not looking forward to this instance at all.
