I'm sure MLK and Socrates weren't being hardcore about their world-changing ideals 24/7. I mean, just because I come here doesn't mean that I can't be active in some kind of cause otherwise, such as cancer research.

And dreaming doesn't necessarily have to be changing the whole world, it can be something as small as fighting for ones ideals and standing up for what you think is right, or making a difference to at least one person. Plus the quote wasn't about changing the world, it was about making your dreams come true. Which means taking chances and not giving into the easy or certain route, which all of us are certainly capable of.
