Since when has garland been this smart? Is this just self preservation kicking in, or has he grown a brain?

I am also surprised that Bikke can remember anything like a pirate code clearly enough to articulate it, or is he just making this up now?

Thief and Drizz'l have always been smart, in a demented sort of way.
