So a long time ago, I was playing Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. For those of you who haven't played it, all of your badass equipment is stolen in the first three seconds of play and you don't get it back until later.
I had the game's music turned off, and was listening to my own. I'd gotten to that big room full of drow with the chest that has your equipment in it. This was my first time actually PLAYING HotU's main campaign instead of just using it to play epic mods, so I was high level and had sweet equipment waiting for me, but I didn't know it was there. I was playing a rogue/fighter.
Anyway, me and my group were getting killed. The two NPCs had gone down, and I was nearly dead. I managed to hide though, and I started sneaking around. In doing so, I found the chest containing all of my equipment, which made me more or less invincible at this stage of the game. I quickly donned it, then dropped out of stealth mode. Almost immediately, fireballs hit me from pretty much every wizard in the room. The explosions actually caused some slowdown on the graphics, so there was this DBZ-ish dustcloud effect. As the explosions cleared and I emerged unscathed, Winamp suddenly kicked over to "Rock You Like a Hurricane." I don't think I need to say what happened next.
I think that's honestly one of my favourite gaming moments ever outside of tabletop.

Awesome art be here.
