Name: Scott Sincair

Age: Alive 27-Dead 12

Weapon:
Revolver: He started using it because he loved the mechanics of the gun, and after long enough it just became his standard. He isn't great at using it, but ever since he came back he found he has gotten better.

Race: Former Human Revenant.

Battlefield Specialization: A quick thinker with versatile potion work and capable engineering skills he is best put in the back where he can toss his potions when the heat is on. The nonoffensive potions can be used in both healing and buffing purposes if needed. He works well with locks, traps, and complex contraptions. He also has a McGyver-esque ingenuity capable of jury rigging a trap or weapon at a moments notice without much to work with.

Abilities:
Alchemical proficiency: Alive or dead Scott had always had a particular skill with potions and enchantments. While he needs long periods of time and a very well stocked lab for enchantments some of the most basic of potions can be made rather easily in the wild, though it is better in a lab. With this he can make offensive potions like fast spreading fire, burning acid, and fast freezing complexes. He can also make potions of healing and buffing if necessary.

Engineer: Scott had never really been an inventor when it came to tech, but he understood the intricacies of how it worked and could repair and put together the things with the right tools. Such that when he sees a well made lock he has an understanding of how to get through it, and when confronted with traps he can typically look to how to remove and recover the thing to use for late.

Improvise: If he runs out of potions, has them taken from him, or if he just wants to make a very special situation Scott can come up with a complicated plan or thing from what he sees around him.

Revenant: His body is just the shell that holds his soul. Typical healing doesn't affect him correctly. He tends to come back from injuries over time. He is a bit easier to turn than some other undead if you confront him with how he died(with an item, not with a story) and anything that hits him that hurts him in the same way he died will hurt him more than usual.

Appearance: His skin is a strange mixture of a light gray and brown as he became just as pale as he could achieve after death. In the wrong light his skin seems to revert to terrifying burns. His eyes have glazed over to a pure white, his hair is long and black and frayed in a way that seems to scream mad scientist. Other than a pair of white gloves and a holster his clothes seem to vary from day to day. He typically is seen with a large bag that carries tools and any potions he has with him at the time.
Personality: He tends to act as a rather pleasant individual with a strange detachment from his humanity. As in to say in conversation he will speak of rather regular things, such as the kingdom, new advancements in science, other popular topics, but he also shows off that he has trouble realizing right and wrong when he attempts to interrogate a commoner by freezing his leg and shooting it off then eating some of the remains. Though for the luck of his companions he does realize he shouldn't do that to them.

Backstory: About as long as Scott was alive he was afraid of death. There was no if, ands, or buts about it death was his greatest enemy. he would sit as a young child with his parents crying himself to sleep in his bed believing the reaper was coming for him in his sleep. So he found himself deep inside alchemical study to try to find a cure to death, or a key toward immortality. A bit of a jerk when it came to being trained he ran through more than one apprenticeship and journeyman works before he became a self made master. He began a deep and in depth study of the undead that possibly could have lead him to the answer. Unfortunately his lab had an unfortunate accident and he was killed in the resulting blast of chemical fury.

Though he was not ready to die.

Through force of will he willed his soul back into existence forcing himself back into the burnt and battered body he had left behind. He found himself dragging the ragged thing back, breaking into another alchemical lab to repair the body as best he could. he did the best job he could but the very memories of the death are sometimes enough to let you see how he used to look.

When the alchemist came home he saw Scott and for any odd reason or another broke down immediately and told him about how they had set up his accident to get a hold of his studies of immortality which he had refused to sell. Scott had been slightly suspicious of this fact and decided he would rather like to have them all dead, starting with that one. He ended up taking a long trek through the alchemists of his town, and with every devoured corpse he found himself a little closer to his revenge.

Eventually there was the leader of the conspiracy. He wore a ring that personified all of his studies, it consumed the life of dead souls to power his immortality. Every time he should have died another soul was erased from existence. Of course Scott knew this and soon enough removed that finger(and the ring seeing as, as long as it was attached to one of his appendages it would still effect his soul), killed and ate that man.

It seemed unlife was about to end but spurned the entrance into the next world. He hadn't come back for revenge to begin with, and he wouldn't leave even after he had gotten a sort. He took a moment wondering if he ought use the ring for a true immortality, though he found it wasn't as perfect if he could do what he just did to that man and scrapped it in an alchemical purge machine. One grand explosion of negative energy and he was gone still looking for a better immortality. Till then being undead would just have to suffice.
