I told you being evil is pretty easy, just have to play how your character was to be greedy in lust for power with no sense of morals. But in all honesty a Beast Ranger would never do that to their pet unless they were evil themselves because that'd be cruel to the pet plus upsetting to be without your companion. It'd be like Drizzt surrending Gwen. Never happen willingly. So it would be slightly out of character in my mind.
