I get annoyed with managers who never have my back. Like, sure, "the customer is always right" they say. As a result, I need to fear them. Because no matter now stupid they are, they get their way. The other day I put someone's groceries away in the wrong order, so they went in to try and bitch to the manager about me. Because ya know, people who help you carry heavy stuff for free are bad people. Or I lost control of some shopping carts, cause the parking lot is hill with several hills on it, and they started rolling towards a car, because the wheels list to the left. So I hurry to stop it from hitting the lady's SUV, I mean, god forbid it scratch or she'll run out and start trying to get me fired. So I take the hit from 8 carts instead of the car. Painful. Then the car runs over my foot. Also not fun. But hell, I got high CON, i'm fine, but then the lady jumps out to yell at me for throwing carts at her car. Luckily I had an eyewitness, so she backed off but seriously? My biggest fear is that someone will say something that stupid and the boss will believe them. Well, no, my biggest fear is that the SUV will actually hit me. I hate big cars.
