Trump's also trying to do away with the Obama-era net neutrality regulations. Basically, Trump's pick for the new FCC chair, a former lawyer for Verizon, is suggesting that in the place of actual laws keeping internet service providers from limiting or obstructing consumer access to websites, ISPs can just "make a promise" that they won't do that.
