Topic. I'm looking for a permanent, or, at the very least, longevous way to reattach the rubber feet to my Lenovo S10. I'm trying to avoid a trip through the warranty cycle for them, because I use the computer for schoolwork.
I tried some Elmer's Rubber Cement, but that didn't work out so well. I may have not used enough, though. I've seen recommendations for contact cement as well as Gorilla Glue, but I wanted to consult the wisdom of NPF before making a move in a particular direction. Ideas? |

Pretty much any adhesive should do the trick.

Super glue? Just, anything really sticky like that, yeah. I'm surprised rubber cement didn't work.
EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, some kinds of Rubber Cement are made with relatively easy removal in mind. So, that's probably why it didn't work out. Last edited by MasterOfMagic; 03-04-2009 at 12:01 AM. |

How about a dab from a hot glue gun? I imagine that it'd probably hold pretty well, and have no issues with laptop heat.

Hm... The hot glue gun would work. I have one available to me as well... I suppose I'll try it, and then post if it doesn't work.
Thanks, guys. |
