AJAX Chat Login Shenanigans?

So, when AJAX chat tells you to log in (Which is just annoying more than anything), it turns out that it's a lie. I hit submit with nothing in the username or password field, and it got me in as me.

I mean, it's not really a big deal, since I was logged in via the forum, but I thought I'd bring it up.

I've seen this too, by the way. However I think what's going on, if I am guessing right from the code, is that in this case it just realizes that there's already a cookie saved for you and uses that to log you in normally.

That or voodoo witch magic, in which case someone should warn shiney that his server is possessed.

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways. On the off chance that someone is taking a trip down memory lane looking through those old threads, I wanted to devote my signature to say directly to you, I'm sorry.
