One Must Fall (Sign-Up)

At the beginning of the 24th century the human race had blossomed into a new era. With newfound anti-matter technology and a strong world government it seemed that this would be a utopia to out-last our very earth. Missions had been sent off into the deepest reaches of space and we were now able to mine resources from nearby planets. We had solved just about every problem we had.

That is until the Centauri caught wind of it. Threatened by our furious advancement, they descended like a flock of crows upon a field of ripe corn, ripping asunder the very landscapes that stood in their way.

Now we are a lonely nomadic species, dodging the looming threat of another Centauri patrol catching us. We sneak from safe house to safe house in constant fear.

All of us... except a select few that is.

A small group of young individuals managed to recover a number of combat suits from an aging arms dealer before the Centauri descended upon the old mans home. Each of these powerful edifices of gleaming titanium is a unique work of art and in a class of its own. They range in shapes from slow moving blocks of weapons to nimble, almost mammallian forms resembling humans, tigers, and the like. These are the resistance.


Ok, here's the skinny. You design a character and a combat mech that goes along with it. Keep it within reason, think along the lines of gundam wing or zoids in terms of armaments.

Here's my character.

Name: Lao'Tze (Lao for short)
Age: 23
Appearence: A tall man of about 6' with dark blue hair combed slightly down over his brown eyes creating a deep shadowed effect. He wears a long, black leather trench coat and wears a silver dragon broach at his throat.
Mech: A tall burnished silver and black mech that bears looks like a masterfully sculpted Eastern Dragon. At first glance it seems to be completely unarmed but on closer inspection several small energy turrets are noticeable located around the mouth and on the shoulders. It's claws are incredibly sharp.
Bio: He once lived in the now incredibly decrepit slums of once-gleaming Tokyo. He knew the arms dealer in question very closely, he wa Lao's father. Lao always held a certain pride in his son's mastery of armed combat, both in the mechs and out.
When the Centauri's first came Lao wanted to encounter them head on. His father advised against it and asked him to gather his friends, take the suits and find refuge from the initial storm. When Lao returned after the initial attack he found the city in shambles, all traces of the world he once knew were gone. And thus began the resistance.

That's Good. Just as long as nobody is packing a gauss cannon, three large pulse lasers and a hatchet the size of my auntie they're fine.

Name: Brian
Age: 18
Appearence: Brian is about 5'8", and very flexible. He has short, brown hair, and blue eyes. He wears a black vest and a white T-shirt. All of his clothes are very flexible and easy to move in.
Mech: Brian's mech is designed to look like a spider monkey, one of the most agile creatures in Brian's mind. It is fairly small compared to other mechs he has seen, but he keeps it small to allow more agility. The cockpit is not really basic compared to others, there are handles that Brian uses to control his mech. To move it, he would move as he normally would. To jump, just jump as he normally would, etc. There is a button on each of the handles for his arms though, and by pressing one of those buttons, an automatic homing missile is fired from the end of the tail. His mech can do exactly what Brian can do without the mech, except that he can use his tail as afifth limb.
Bio: Brian was always athletic and flexible, he practiced every day to keep in peak physical condition. He never knew his parents, he was left at an orphanage after he was born. He used to live in Canada, but he soon had to start wandering to make sure he wasn't caught by the Centauri.
One day he found a spot in an old abandoned city where he thought no one had been for years, and started using scraps of metal he found on the streets to build a machine to rival the Centauri. He didn't want to run anymore. He wanted to fight.

hair:brown with gold and silver tints, comes to chin and bangs hide eyes
cloths:black leather gloves, skin tight suit shirt(navy blue), zips up front with code name over right breast, black straps on her thighs and arms to hold guns, tanish short shorts, combat boots.
bio:split personality, one of a mec (her weapon of choice) and one of her formal self. Mec is calm and quiet, her other form is all out for power in any way possible.
Weapon:Mec, large robots with own personality, not able to work without pilot but have great stengths, human form. Doesn't work for any other for it's main control is stuck inside Kris's body, the Mec's personality.
Mec colors:Purple with different shades of red and greens, kinda stalking and human body but a reaper like head.

You're both ok. Although Crimson you need to do some more description. Other than that you seem altright.

I like the spider monkey idea Biran. Very erm... Chic.

Flying is fine. Actually standard equipment on a mech includes jump boosters so that's kind of a given.

And despite my liking for coherency IHMN could you lighten up a bit? I think that complete sentences are a must and all but I'm not going to nit-pick. People should play the character and the character should fit. I'm not allowing a guy who has a turtle Mech and speaks .... very .... slowly...
But honestly as long as it's understandable what the action is in general I'm not going to press charges.

However as IHMN has proved in the past HE will.
