Western Digital Passport (Portable Drive) not recognized

So yeah, I have a WD portable harddrive that I used to hold all my games and then play them right off there. Earlier today I was playing Spore, had no problems with it or anything, and then I took a break to go to the bank. I come back and the drive isn't there. I don't mean stolen, I mean the computer recognizes that there's something plugged in but doesn't recognize it's my drive and as such I can't access anything on the drive.

Does anyone know WHY this would be happening?
