ACen 2010 Con Report: Very picture heavy!

Yep it's that time again! Just now finishing up my recovery from a full three days of solid Anime Central in Chicago. This was a pretty big year. Not only did I end up with over 2,000 pictures to sort through, my friends and I had a rousing game of Pokemon Snap over the weekend with all the Pokemon cosplayers running around. On the music front; Yoshiki Hayashi of X Japan fame made a surprise appearance. And by "surprise" I mean, he called the ACen staff on Friday and said "Oh hey, I want to show my half hour documentary premier in the middle of your Grand Masquerade on Saturday. Is that cool?" and they went "HOLY FUCK IT'S YOSHIKI! YES YES YES YES YES!" and he was all "Cool. I'll fly down now then." And so he did. It was kinda neat having a nation treasure of Japan literally twenty feet from me on stage.
