So I've got less than a week. I am going back to serve in the army next week. 1.9. at 12PM which is next wendsday. I will be serving with the only MP-company in the whole country, which also serves as the Presidents honorary guard. Being MP's and all, means we have less leave than most others do. I can't yet know for certain what exactly I'll be doing (besides being an MP) but I'll find out soon enough.
This thread is basically an interest thread. Is there enough interest to keep a constant thread about me being in the army, which I will update regularily or should I just make the occasional update in the Public Announcement Thread? Tell me. -Joel EL

What kind of ca-raaaazy traditions do they have in the finnish army?
I remember hearing that on the eve of the blood-ice equinox you all throw beavers over your shoulders before doing the cabbage dance on the fields of karanenenenn. (You should look up the fake interviews between Mike Richards of the Fan960 in Calgary, and Miikka Kiprusoff. The crazy finland stories he makes up are hilarious.)
